Who we are

Guppy Sort is an independent mobile and browser puzzle game. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the Guppy Sort development team.

Information we collect

We collect no personal information. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not collect location data
• We do not track gameplay behaviour or analytics
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies on our website

Game progress and local storage

Your level progress, star ratings, hint count, and settings (sound, haptics) are saved using your device's local storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted to our servers (we have none)
• Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser or app data

On the web version, this is handled by your browser's localStorage. On the mobile app (iOS/Android), this is handled by the device's local app storage.

In-app purchases

The "Full Ocean" unlock ($2.99) is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see or handle your payment information. Their respective privacy policies govern that transaction:

On the web version, purchases are not currently available.

Third-party services

The game itself uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks.

Our website and web version are hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) as part of normal hosting operations. We do not access or process these logs.

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of the font request. You can refer to Google's privacy policy for details.

Children's privacy

Guppy Sort is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). Since we collect no personal data from anyone, this policy applies equally to all users regardless of age.

Your rights

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to remove all locally stored game data, you can do so at any time by:

• Web: Clearing your browser's site data for the Guppy Sort domain
• Mobile: Deleting the app from your device

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change our data practices (for example, optional accounts or leaderboards), we will update this policy and change the "last updated" date at the top. We will not introduce data collection without updating this document first.
